Shilbarihat High School serves the villages and tea-garden communities of Alipurduar‑I block, teaching students from Class V through Higher Secondary in Bengali, with English, science and computer education from the earliest years.

A village school carries a particular responsibility: for many of our students we are the first, and sometimes the only, path to higher study. Our work is to make that path steady — regular classes, honest examinations, and teachers who know every child by name.
The school follows the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education syllabus to Class X, and the Council of Higher Secondary Education for Classes XI and XII.

For Class XI, stream allotment follows the Madhyamik result as per Council norms.
